The grandmother-mother-daughter relationship is fascinating, especially as we compare the way we were brought up to the way we are raising our girls. And the choices we make along the way, whether it&#039;s reinforcing what our own mothers did or taking a contrary stance. And generational influence factors in so much. I think our mothers cared so much more, for example, about how they looked - not so much for them, but for society&#039;s sake and their roles (mostly) as stay-at-home mothers and wives.]]></description>
